How it works

If you've never consigned with us before, we'll set up an account for you when you come into the store. No need to do so in advance.

There are two ways to consign with us:

  1. You can drop off a maximum of 40 items per week during store hours for us to review later. Any items we don’t feel we can sell will be donated to Cradles to Crayons.
  2. If you prefer to have items that we can’t sell returned to you, you can schedule an appointment for us to review your items while you wait. Please call or email in advance to schedule an appointment.

You can check your account balance online via the Consignor Access service or by contacting us (calling, emailing, messaging us on social media, or asking in person). Payouts are made by request and can be made via check, Venmo, or store credit. You can take a payout at any time. Consignors receive 40% of an item’s price for items we price at $10 and over, and 30% for items priced under $10. There is a $1 monthly maintenance fee charged to your account; this fee is only charged if you have a balance. We may deduct a small fee from your consignor account if your items require extensive steaming or lint rolling. If an item has not sold for 180 days, it becomes store-owned. The consignment period for holiday-specific items may be less than 180 days. If an account is inactive for 24+ months, any outstanding balance is forfeited.

We set prices based on item type, brand, estimated retail price, and historical knowledge. Prices may have additional buyers’ fees charged to the customer. We may discount prices at any time for any reason.

What we take

We are very selective with the items we accept. If you wouldn't purchase an item in its current condition, we likely won't accept it for resale.

We take:

  • Freshly washed, wrinkle-free, gently worn children's clothing, shoes, and accessories sizes newborn through 14 (XL), in excellent condition with no flaws, in current fashions.
  • Designer, boutique, and mall brands.
  • Sportswear (dance & gymnastics leotards and shoes, cleats, ice skates).
  • Unopened toys in original packaging.
  • Select used toys (American Girl dolls and accessories, Yoto, Tonies, Lovevery and other wooden toys).
  • Children’s books in excellent condition with no writing or name labels.

We do not take:

  • Items with flaws of any kind (stains, holes, odors, pet hair, fading, pilling, other signs of wear).
  • Items older than 4 years; out of style fashions.
  • Junior or adult sizes.
  • Discount brands (Art Class, Carter’s, Cat & Jack, Cloud Island, Garanimals, Gerber, Jumping Beans, Primark, Shein, So, Wonder Nation), aside from high-demand items (pajamas, shoes, outerwear, swimsuits). 
  • Baby equipment (high chairs, strollers, etc.).
  • Bedding or decor. 
  • Infant or opened toys.

When we take it

We accept items seasonally. Our seasons are:

Jan - May: Spring / Summer Short sleeves, lightweight long sleeves, light jackets, pants, skirts, shorts, Easter dresses, First Communion dresses and suits, sundresses, bathing suits, sneakers, sandals.
Jun - Dec: Fall / Winter Long sleeves, pants, sweaters, fleece, outerwear, sneakers, boots. Winter coats, snow gear (snow boots, pants, bibs) & holiday wear starting in September. Halloween costumes in September only.
